Create a unique large holiday tag that has a special place for a personal message and a pocket for a gift card that reveals itself on the tag’s back. This tag keeps on giving. Later, it can be used as a book marker allowing the bow to peek out at the top edge of the page.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Magazines (food and Christmas pictures)
- Manila file folders
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Ribbon
- Distress Oxide Ink (optional)
- Hole punch
- Circle punch
HERE’S HOW
- Cut tag and pocket gift card holder (Tag: W 4″ x H 7 1/2″, Pocket: W 4″ x H 3″)
- Cut magazine pictures out
- Arrange cuts outs on tag and pocket
- Tip: (take picture with phone to remember the design)
- Glue cut outs to tag and pocket piece
- Ink edges of tag and pocket piece (optional)
- Punch half circle in middle top edge of pocket piece
- Glue pocket to bottom edge of tag back
- Punch hole at the top of tag
- Slip ribbon through hole and tie bow
