As a young girl, I always enjoyed cutting out paper dolls. As I got older and became interested in collages, cutting out magazine pictures seemed like the next step. “The Wedding” collage was designed by me in the ‘70’s, way before my aka, the Goddess of Garbage ever appeared on the scene. Even after forty years, it is still one of my favorite projects.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Fabric and lace
- Old wedding cards, postcards
- Gold paper dollies, letters
- Cut outs from magazines and cards
- White glue
- Frame with glass
- A sharp pair of scissors
HERE’S HOW
- Cover the board with fabric
- Arrange the cut outs, cards, and other embellishments
- Glue in place
- Fit board into frame and secure
