This haunting hanging, whether on a wall or in a window, will keep all passers by spellbound.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- Cardboard (back of ledger pad)
- Catalog/magazine cut-outs
- Glue stick, glue gun
- Embellishments: buttons, pumpkin eraser, thread, ribbon, and rhinestone
- Vintage dictionary pages
- Black ink
- A straw
- A piece of sandpaper
HERE’S HOW
- Cut cardboard and sandpaper to 6 1/2″ square
- Cut nine 2 1/2″ squares
- Wrap and glue dictionary pages to each smaller square
- Glue each square to larger square
- Fussy cut each catalog and magazine picture
- Arrange the pictures and embellishments on each card and glue
- Glue wire ribbon to back top edge of cardboard and slip straw through it
Note:
This decoration can also sit on a table by gluing a cardboard easel to the back of the large cardboard piece. This is a “free to nothing” cost collage creation for Halloween.
