An Easter Ring Basket

Ring in the Spring using a vintage wedding goblet to create a very unique Easter basket with a contemporary look.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Container:

  • A champagne goblet
  • Oasis, gray moss
  • Hair pins, wire, thread/needle
  • Glue gun
  • Tiny flowers and berry garland
  • Tiny silver and gold beads, ribbon

Egg:

  • Styrofoam sparkle color egg
  • Ruffle lace, gold trim
  • Tacky glue, glue gun
  • Pieces of jewelry: one earring and two leaves

HERE’S HOW

Container:

  • Secure oasis in container
  • Shape wire in circular design, attach and secure to both bottom ends of oasis to make ring using hot glue
  • Cover ring with tiny greenery, berries, flowers, and beads
  • Cover oasis with gray moss with hair pins
  • Add the looped (sewn together) ribbon at the two bottom ends where the ring meets the oasis

Egg:

  • Glue gold trim in the middle of egg
  • Glue ruffle lace on both sides of trim
  • Push pink pearl pins into gold trim
  • Glue flower earring on the top of egg with leaves on both sides
