Celebrate the Springtime! Enjoy the burst of this multi-color pastel topiary tree throughout this colorful garden season. As a unique touch, I added tiny wrapped packages and placed them under the tree. A perfect decoration for a gathering of special friends.
MATERIALS NEEDED
- 5″ square cardboard box
- 5″ styrofoam ball
- Oasis
- Dowel
- Spray paint
- Straws: multi-colored & designs
- 4 Pompoms
- Mini flowers: multi-colored
- Wire ribbon
- Hot glue
- Excelsior
HERE’S HOW
- Wedge oasis into box
- Cut straws at different heights
- Glue straws rotating the different heights around box
- Glue 4 pompoms on straw tops of each corner
- Cut and spray dowel, let dry
- Place and secure dowel in middle of oasis
- Stick dowel in 5″ ball
- Glue flowers completely covering ball
- Place excelsior covering oasis
- Optional: decorating and placing tiny boxes at bottom of tree
