MATERIALS NEEDED
- White glue
- Shredded paper strips
- Water
- Gesso
- Saran Wrap
- Blue painter’s tape
- Craft paint (2 colors)
- Black marker
HERE’S HOW
- Select a bowl for your size
- Wrap Saran Wrap tightly around outside of bowl
- Use painter’s blue tape to secure wrap inside of bowl
- Dip shredded paper strips into mixture of water and glue
- Apply wet strips, crisscrossing over outside of bowl until completely covered
- Let dry overnight
- Trim top edge
- Paint all of bowl with gesso
- Paint one color inside and a different color outside
- Using black marker, draw a design
