MATERIALS NEEDED
- Shoe box with an attached lid
- Worn children’s treasure book pages
- Brass nail heads or thumbtacks
- Trim
- White glue and glue gun
- Brass handle and clasp
- Velcro tape
HERE’S HOW
- Cut, cover and glue pages to the exterior of shoe box
- Glue braid in place
- Glue nail heads or thumb tacks onto braid (cut nail head points if too long – an adult should do this)
- Glue clasp and handle
- Attach Velcro to inside lip of box for tight grip
