TIP OF THE MONTH

Each month, the Goddess of Garbage will post a hot tip about how to "recyclize" those dumpster finds! So before you throw it away, check out her latest ideas.

THE HOT TIP

BUSTIN' BRONCO IN A BOTTLE

A flower arrangement that doesn't fence this BUSTIN' BRONCO in. Just place this festive bottle on the picnic table to liven up lunch at high noon.

Materials Needed:
Arizona natural flavored bottle (or any decorative recycled juice bottle)
Rope
Scarf
A Western-style pin
Small Cowboy hat
Glue gun
Silk flowers (mine are chrysanthemums)
Dried material: natural wheat, tree fern, larkspur, yellow weed flowers

Here's how:
Wash out bottle.
Tie and loop rope to make a lasso around neck of bottle.
Tie scarf over rope and tie a knot.
Pin the western-style pin to the cowboy hat.
Glue small cowboy hat to neck of bottle (on the side).
Arrange the dried material and silk flowers in bottle.
